Meeting of Tuesday January 4, 2011

Hi Gang- First of all- HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Jim mentioned that I did not indicate what we will be doing at our meeting on January 4, 2011.

Here are a few items.

1. Our normal One-on-One sessions for anyone looking for help on something.

2. Installing AVG 2011 for anyone needing it.

3. Installing "Help Tabs" on Word 2007 for anyone absent from the session when we did that.

4. Fixing the "Sample Picture" folder for anyone who messed theirs up.

5. Adding the "Class Docs" and "Class Picture Folders" to your computer.

6. How to join the "Printer Network" to print on the Senior Center Printer.

We need volunteers to Set up on Mondays and Take down on Tuesday so please help.

The following changes have been made to make the program better.

1. The 8 SC Laptops have been numbered so students can use the same computer each week.

2. The "Sample Pictures" have been fixed and a new folder of "Class Pictures" has been added for the Photo Gallery Sessions.

3. A new folder of "Class Docs" has been added for the Word 2007 Sessions.

4. A new Icon has been added for using Internet Explorer for the Internet Sessions instead of Google Chrome.

For those of you who bring your own Laptop, come on Jan 4, and have your computer set up for the Sessions. We have new "Shades" to prevent sun glare!
