The Computer Club is Sponsoring the Supper/Concerts starting on
January 13th 2019 and will dedicate the first Computer Session of
each month to creating You tube Video Playlists for the Concerts.

The January 13th Playlist was Created by the Concert Committee.
This was a lot of fun to do so we are opening it up to the full group.

1. Viewing the Completed January Video Playlist.
2. Showing of the February 10th Playlist Trailer.
3. We will go around the room and search on You Tube for
    Singers or Songs.
4. The best Videos will be added to the February Playlist.

 Subject- Word Letter and Maintenance 

 Agenda:

A. You will be Emailed a Letter that is badly in need of editing.

    Your assignment will to correct all the errors and create a

    proper final letter.

  1. Header:            Fix the font sizes and center it.

  2. Page Layout:   Change Orientation to Portrait.

  3. Date:                Move Date to the right.

  4. Addressing:    Remove the line spaces.

  5. Re:                   Tab it to the right.

  6. Paragraphs:     Add space for each paragraph.
  7. Spell Check:    Correct all the spelling errors.
  8. Proof Read:      Read the letter for proofing.
  9. Preparer:          Add your initials as the Preparer (Lower Case)

10. Print:                 Print your letter on the Center Printer.

B. Maintenance 

  1. Backup your computer.

  2. Update Center Computers.

1. The new Gmail System now has the added Security 

    of using your Cell Phone as a recovery tool for your

    account. We will add your Cell phone number to your

    account for Recovery purposes.

2.  We will review your recovery Email selection and 

     change it if necessary.

3.  We will do a Maintenance of your Hard Drive.

4.  For those who want to, we will do a Backup.

5.  Address any Members problem Questions.

         History:
          We had Sessions from Mid March to May 1st using 
          Movie Maker. Nine are posted on the Center Web Site.

           August 19th - 60th Surprise Birthday party for my son
          Jerry Ronan in Cape Coral, FL.

          August 26th - 80th Surprise Birthday party for
          Shirley Siana in Bridgewater, CT.  

          September 3rd - 7th Birthday party for my Grandson
          Stephen Ronan Jr in Southbury, CT.

          September 10th - Day off and no party. It was 50 degrees.

          September 15th - 60th Surprise Birthday party for nephew
          Kevin Ronan in Sandy Hook, CT.    

          Using Movie Maker and the Pictures and Videos from each
          party I created four Movies and Shared them with the Host
          and the Birthday recipient.  

           Agenda

              1. We will play the movies in this order.
              60th for Kevin.
                7th for Stephen.
              60th for Jerry.
           
           2. Using Movie Maker we will explore why the
               80th for Shirley is the Best one.

           3. Quiz for last week's Tip 21 Center TV Operation.

               A. Attach Computer with wire to project to TV.  
               B. Turn on TV to Channel 725.
               C. Play Elvis Presley on Pandora.
               D. Select a U-Tube Video and Cast to the TV.
               E. Play the Elvis DVD on the TV.

Subject: Topics Request by Blanche 1.  Review moving photos from one program to others.               How to put a Picture in Word and Email.  2.  Review excel use.               Set up of recent Excel files used by Jerry.  3.  I don't know how to text ( I just got a cell phone last week).  If a review of what you did on cell phones which I know you did earlier this summer is not asking too much, that would help me a lot.               Casting to TV Texting by Blanche to me. 4.  My new gmail check box next to an email sometimes goes on without my checking it.  I recently lost all my current emails and have idea how.  I did retrieve most of them from trash, but is there a way to stop that without returning to the original email.              Review of the selection process to delete E-Mails.
